We have had a lovely relaxing time in this beautiful cottage and enjoyed the tranquility of the hot tub. The cottage is beautifully decorated and feels cosy and homely from the minute of arrival. Thank you very much for giving us the chance to experience it. Definitely recommend.
Thank you for a lovely stay, the haven is amazing. The local information was very helpful and our daughter enjoyed soft play and pottery painting when the weather was bad. The beaches and forest were great to explore. And it was lovely to relax in the hot tub after a day exploring.
We felt immediately very comfortable in your lovely cottage. Great location and very well appointed with everything required. The welcoming emails with suggestions and ideas was especially nice. The highlight was opening the retractable roof and enjoying the tsars from the hot tub. Stunning! Thank you!
What a beautiful cottage you have, when can I move in? Spotlessly clean and welcoming bottle of wine went down well. Just nice to relax for a week. Lovely area and scenery. Would definitely recommend anyone visiting the area to book here. Good luck for future bookings but I'm sure you'll get lots of return bookings

We have had such a great week even though the weather hasn’t been so good! We’ve enjoyed walks in the forest, beautiful beaches and quite a few dips in the hot tub!we loved the retractable roof and watching the sky (and the bats!) in the evening. The cottage is perfect and had everything we needed. Thanks so much for a great stay.
Loved our holiday at The Haven. The kids especially loved the hot tub. We had the added pleasure of watching an osprey fishing in the river straight from the living room window.

We’ve just had the most wonderful stay at The Haven, Bladnoch. The local area is peaceful and quiet and the surrounding area has endless places of beauty. The cottage has excellent amenities, beautiful decor, with welcoming and helpful hosts. A bonus, is that there is a pub and Wiskey Distillery at the end of the road. 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It is a beautiful house, rustic and charming in decor, all the convenience of home. Set in a quiet area, my husband loves fishing and this village provided him with a good opportunity for that. The town of Wigton is nearby just a short distance away by car or walking, with book stores aplenty. If you need a quiet getaway this is a beautiful place to do it. The owners are very helpful with plenty of information about the local area 👍😀
We had a great week here in your lovely cottage. The house is beautifully done - all your decor is fab. We enjoyed a few dips in the hot tub. We had a distillery tour on Wednesday - really great tour guide. Such a shame their cafe wasn't open until the day we leave! Thanks for being great hosts.

Myself, my husband and my three doggies were lucky enough to be the first guests and we had the most amazing stay celebrating my 40th birthday!
So peaceful and quiet in such idyllic surroundings; cosy, comfy and with a hot tub to chill out in - exactly what we needed after the stresses of the last year!
Spotting the daily wildlife also quickly became a fun task and we clocked up an impressive list consisting of birds, ducks, sheep, cows, goats and even two alpacas! 😂
The Haven is beautifully decorated and has everything you could reasonably expect to enjoy your stay but the attention to detail and effort that Mary-Jane & Jack have put into the place just makes it that little bit extra special ❤ The big stand alone bath was a particular favourite of mine and all the books provided was such a lovely touch too - perfect for curling up in front of the log burner and getting lost in!
